I am a postgraduate student of the MSc "Social Neuroscience, Social Pedagogy and Education". From the first moment of my studies in this postgraduate course, they made me feel like I am a Social Educator. This brings honour and pride, and on the other hand is accompanied by responsibility and commitment, first towards yourself and then towards others. In this journey, which one would usually describe as lonely, you always have colleagues, teachers, friends next to you and paths full of positive emotions, choices and life opportunities spread around you. What I want to point out, of course is, that there is no thorn less roses, so the postgraduate course is not always an easy process, but it is necessary if we want to change the world and improve as human beings.
Many times, you are confronted with your fears, but at the same time with your dreams. There are times when you think you will not succeed. There an inner voice appears, after you have trained your social brain to behave like that, and according to the words of N. Kazantzakis it tells you "Reach where you cannot". And there will always be a partner to offer you their generous help and you will always do the best you can and finally every day you will reach higher and higher, closer and closer to the goal.
Really, it's so liberating when you overcome obstacles and touch what you dream of. Through this postgraduate course, you feel that it is so comforting to contribute to what is called "social change". It is so important to evolve as a personality, and at the same time strengthen your scientific background. It is nice to work next to your dreams. It is great to shake hands with your neighbour.
Let us offer our hand to those who need it, let us give our hand to the previous and next social educators, so that our chain grows, and our world is filled with meaning, prosperity, beautiful positive experiences and relationships that will last for a lifetime. It requires faith, strength, optimism, responsibility and a strong will.
