Social Neuroscience, Social Pedagogy and Education

My "journey" in the Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies "Social Neuroscience, Social Pedagogy and Education", started a few months ago. However, I feel that I can express a multitude of thoughts and feelings!

I feel satisfied, because I am a member of a dynamic team consisting of remarkable colleagues, with whom we envision social change on multiple levels. We collaborate, reflect, contemplate and seek the co-creation of knowledge through theory and practice.

Our mentors are our scientifically trained "teachers", with whom we are "companions" on the path to knowledge. The organization of the program is perfect, even though it takes place under special conditions due to the pandemic. It is also worth noting that we are given the opportunity to approach other disciplines that are interdisciplinarily related to Social Pedagogy, such as Neuroscience and Social Informatics.

Our goal is to find ways for the development, progress and prosperity of all individuals who belong to society throughout their lives through education. We believe that "the Whole is greater than the sum of its parts", according to the saying of Aristotle and we try to put it into practice. I wish this "journey" to be as exciting until the end!
