Social Neuroscience, Social Pedagogy and Education

The Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program (IPP) titled "Social Neuroscience, Social Pedagogy and Education" is a program that combines theory with practice. Its field is wide and deals with contemporary issues of the Educational Sciences and the Neurosciences.

IPP provides a high-quality postgraduate education with qualified professors, who are next to the student, throughout their studies. There is dynamic interaction, interactivity and continuous feedback, aimed at the systematic improvement of each student. An important advantage is the focus on reflection, as securing expertise requires specific skills and abilities, such as analysis and thinking about the action. The Master's degree expands our scientific horizons, constantly providing food for thought and action. It cultivates team spirit and creativity through experiential activities, which play a key role in the whole learning process.

Despite the difficulties due to the pandemic, the teachers do their best by having the student as their main priority. We are also given the opportunity to cope with an unprecedented situation, discovering new ways of studying and collaborating. After all, as we have learned in the module of Social Pedagogy "a problem ultimately leads to a new perspective".

My course so far in this postgraduate course has made me a better scientist and a better person, as it taught me to respect the individuality of each person and to believe in its inherent value. I feel that my choice to attend this postgraduate course was right and I would recommend it to anyone interested.
