Few words about me: I completed my PhD in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Lincoln under the supervision of Dr Vassilis Cutsuridis. I am a Research Scientist with experience in building computational models using NEURON and Python with a strong understanding of the intricaciesinvolved in creating and training neural networks. Highly skilled at designing experiments and analyzingthe data will be emerged. Interested in applying my skills and expertise in the field of neural networks toaddress real-world problems, such as developing new treatments for neurological disorders, improving the efficiency of renewable energy systems, and creating intelligent systems that can assist areas such as healthcare and transportation. I am passionate about using my knowledge and experience to create innovative solutions that can impact society, and I am confident that my skills andexperience make me well-suited to contribute to such efforts.
Few words about my PhD project: developing computational models of memory formation in the hippocampus to decipher the operations, computations and roles of multifaceted inhibition during the retrievalprocess. The results of this research will identify potential targets for therapeutic treatments aimed at ameliorating memory dysfunctions in disorders, such as Alzheimer's and dementia.
