Ioannis Michopoulos is a psychiatrist and Professor of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. He is a teaching cognitive psychotherapist and President of the Hellenic Society for Cognitive Psychotherapies (member of EABCT). He is Head of the Eating Disorders Unit of the 2nd Department of Psychiatry in Attikon Hospital. He has more than 100 international publications and more than 2000 citations in the international literature (Google scholar: h-index 24, i10-index 52). His studies include clinical and neuropsychological interests, mainly in mood and eating disorders. His involvement in Evidence Medicine Psychiatry has brought him as a member of Cochrane Greece. He has been an expert in the implementation of ICF in works in Cyprus and Greece.
